Datagrabber is now available regardless of the server version. Defect 005: Japanese - The default fields (file name, file size, and file date) in document profile are not in single byte. This results in the malfunctioning of Alchemy DataGrabber. To ensure that your Alchemy 8.3 Service Pack 1 installation contains the latest updates and defect fixes you should install this Service Pack 2 in all computers where you have installed Alchemy client and server components as part of the Captaris Alchemy Content Management Suite. This includes computers where you installed Alchemy Administrator, Index Station and Search; Alchemy Server, Alchemy Web Engine and Application, Alchemy File Connector Server and Client. To install the Service Pack: 1. Download the Service Pack executable file to a computer where Alchemy is installed. 2. Navigate to the location where you saved the service pack and double-click the executable file to begin the installation. 3. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the service pack. 4. If prompted, restart the computer.
